Burntstuff.com specialises in laser engraved products. We design and make things mainly out of leather and wood, for the Scouting market. We are also able to carry out commission work to your design or we can come up with a design for you. The maximum size that our lasers can handle is around 850 x 550mm (100 x 100mm for metal objects). If you would like to discuss a particular project, please get in touch.
We engrave thousands of Scout woggles each year and we are able to supply from one woggle to hundreds in an order. Our woggle customers include individuals, Groups, Camp Sites, Districts, Counties and Associations. Find out about the different leathers we use here.

Delivery is by post and is calculated by size, weight and destination. We can also offer free collection from our workshop in Onchan. We post items worldwide. You can check how much post and packing will be by clicking on your Shopping Cart and entering delivery information, before going to checkout.
A new feature we have added is our online Woggle Designer, this lets you design a woggle, adding borders, text and logos to a template so that you can see how the finished design will look when the it is burnt into leather. Try it out here.
All items are made to order, we don't keep any stock of finished engraved woggles, this would be impossible considering the number of options available. We try and get orders complete within a few days of receiving them, but during busy periods this may take longer, perhaps up to a week. Orders are dealt with in the order them come in, so please allow plenty of time, especially if you want something for a presentation and have a deadline in mind. We can't make any guarantees that items will be delivered by a particular date. For those of you in the UK, please remember that we are based in the Isle of Man and that delivery to a UK address takes a little longer than a UK to UK delivery and being on an Island sometimes the weather can affect deliveries leaving for the UK and further afield.
Clocks are made from plywood. The majority of woggles are made from leather. You can find more info on the leather I use here. Cutlery is stainless steel, other metal items will be stainless steel, steel or aluminium. Metal items are engraved using a fiber laser machine, which is very different to the laser which is used to engrave leather and the one used to cut out clocks

Payment can be made by Paypal, which is quick and easy, you don't even need a PayPal account as you can make a one off payment using your Credit or Debit Card. Payment can also be made by Bank Transfer (BACS) if you live in the UK. Please note your BACS payment must be made within five days or your order will be cancelled. Our Account details will be shown during check out and will be on the order confirmation email you will receive. Goods will not be shipped until paid for in full.
Postage costs include not just the cost of the stamps but also the packing materials used. We do not have a 2nd Class Postage system on the Isle of Man, so all items are sent by 1st Class Post. Postage charges jump quite a bit for anything over 25mm in thickness, so small bulky items that are light can often cost more than small slim items that are heavier. Postage is calculated on weight and size. We now offer a signed for service for UK customers. You will be sent the tracking number with your shipped confirmation. Further information here.
